Annual Meeting and Talk with Phil Stichter

on Abraham Lincoln and Ohio

part of the Civil War Sesquicentennial Series

Did you know that the first edition of the Lincoln Douglas Debates was published right here in Columbus? Phil will tell the interesting story of why our city had this honor. He will also tell stories about Lincoln and which people in Ohio supported him and which did not.

Phil, a retired local attorney and resident of Worthington Hills, has a deep interest in Abraham Lincoln and Lincolnís relationship with the Ohio politicians of his time.

Join us for a brief meeting followed by a lecture. Open to the public; free admission.

This is a joint event with the Griswold Center.
