1804 Old Worthington Plat and Lot Owners

On August 15, 1804 Scioto Company members signed the partition deed for town lots and farm lots in the town of Worthington. [Recorded in Deed Record A, pp. 14-23, Franklin County Recorder's Office] Below is a list of these members and the lot numbers of the town lots they received. Beneath the list is a reconstructed map showing the locations of the 164 numbered lots within the boundaries of what is today North and South, Morning and Evening Streets. Most street names have changed over the years. These changes and details about the size of lots, street widths, public square, and lots for the Episcopal Church and central school are described in the book "Worthington Neighborhoods" at the Worthington Historical Society and Library
